ARTICLES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
By popular demand, the Reacting Consortium is hosting a discussion on the Microgame Publishing and Development Process on August 18th at 8 pm EDT/5 pm PDT via Zoom as a Microgame Panel. If you're thinking about writing your own Reacting Microgame (or part way through), you don't want to miss this. You'll hear experienced perspectives on:
And of course, there will be time for your questions!
Panel members Ray Kimball (Microgames Coordinator), Jonathan Lawrence (Ban the Jesuits), Michael Barnhart (Executive Order 9066 / Challenging the Camps), and Jen Edwards (Revolting Nuns) are excited to share their experiences with you.
As a reminder: A microgame is a game that can be played in a single 60-75 minute session (including set-up and short debrief). You can see our microgames here, and can check out resources for microgame game authors here (like the microgame role sheet template and microgame instructors manual template, and an overview of the microgame framework as adopted by the Reacting Board).
